Septeto Habanero

Septeto Habanero is considered by many musicologists in specialised music publications as the most genuine exponent of the Cuban Son and one of the most outstanding interpreters of traditional Cuban music. This long-standing group, founded originally in 1920, recorded the first son in the United States (La Maldita Timidez in 1925). Their extensive repertoire spans 83 years of Cuban musical history, and their eight members have a combined age of nearly 500 years!
